Story Time With Hayden

#3 The Barn

Shmickelhimer got back on the road. Leaving almost immediately after the kill. He went down a trail for about 45 minutes then he hit a dead end. He didn't think he was going the wrong way, but he must have, so he turned back. As he was walking back he noticed a sign that had a picture of a barn on it pointing to the dead end. The barn was the spot where he was planing to spend the next night. He was puzzled. He looked at the dead end, it was a trail that headed strait into a bush, how could that be the way to the barn? He tried to looked around the sides but the bush had no sides, it just kept going. Shmickelhimer took out his sword and chopped away at the bush. Going further and further into it. He felt like he had gone a mile in, but when he turned around he had only gone about two feet. He was amazed and angry at the same time. He knew that he had to have walked at least a mile into the bush, but somehow he didn't. Shmickelhimer slept out of the bush and he saw the gap in the bush disappear. He tried to climb over it, but the bush always fell from underneath him. He tried digging, but once he was about three inches under he hit something metal. Shmickelhimer pushed the dirt away to find a metal plate. On the metal plate it said, "To get past the bush, find the barn." Shmickelhimer was very confused, how could he find the barn when he can't get past the bush? Shmickelhimer looked and looked for some other way in, but he found none. He paced back and forth thinking how could he do this seemingly impossible task. He even tried to go around the bush, but it was a circle.

Shmickelhimer needs help, how do you think he can get to the barn? Post a comment a tell me. Read the next story and see if you were right. That's all for this blog entry. Hi Hayden! How long is this story going to be? I don't even remember what he is trying to accomplish. I think Smicklhimer should keep going into the bushes until he finds the barn. Then he should realize that the barn was only a few feet through the bushes and he had missed the trial around the bush.

Nice blog entry Hayden. I really like this story. I think that to get through the bush he has to go get the sign. He then uses the sign to somehow get through the bush. Please keep writing this story.

Fantastic story, Hayden! Maybe Shmickelhimer will go back and see what is around the barn sign. This story is quite amazing. Why did he kill the wolf? That was really cruel of him. Perhaps he needs a traveling companion.
