High School Basketball

Next year I want to play high school basketball. There is going to be a Varsity, JV and C team. I hope to make the C team. My shot some how improved since last season, I have know idea why. I've gone to two high school practices, at first they are scary because they put you in right in the middle of a drill. Later we split up and learn plays. I really want to make the team so I'm getting as involved as possible. I'm going to the GONZAGA basketball camp. It is really expensive and really far away. Some people are flying there, I have to ride in a car. I didn't go last year, but I heard it was a lot of work. I also heard that it was mostly just practicing. This year it's going to be a team camp. I that we are going to play a lot of basketball. Last year they play for ten ours a day! I'm still really excited for this season.

I did pause before I started to speak. I could have paused longer.

I looked at the audience for a little bit. I could have look at them longer and at more of them.

Yes, my facial expressions reflected what I was saying. I could have been a little more enthusiastic.

I used my hands to make a point most of the time. Sometimes I didn't though.

Halo PC Mod

This blog is going to be about modifying Halo PC. I first saw Isaac and Wesley doing some modding. Just recently I started to mod Halo. I downloaded the trial of Halo and then found this website http://halo2.filefront.com/file/Halo_Mapping_Tools_Version_35;37863. It's really easy to do. You can do all kinds of things to the maps, weapons, people and anything else in the game.You can swap the thing that is fired from one weapon to another. For example I made the Assault Rifle shoot plasma grenades. I also made the shotgun shoot Scorpion Shells. I made the pistol shoot rockets. You can also change the color of things. All of the maps are saved in files on your computer. Each file has all the objects that are on the map on it. So when you open up HMT (the program needed to mod halo) you can open any map you want, then mod it!

Sci Fi Monster M.S.H.

M.S.H



My sci-fi monster is called a M.S.H. (but his name is George). His head is furry and brown like a meerkat, he also lives in holes in the ground like one. He has two green antennas with yellow tops extending from his ears. His ears droop down over his droopy cheeks. His cheeks droop down past his jaw. He has two buck teeth like a rabbit and two sharp teeth on the bottom jaw. There is fire coming out in-between his ears on the top of his head and one big green eye right below it. He has a mono-brow over it. He has two holes for a nose and an eye on each droopy cheek. He has another mono-brow over his two lower eyes that also form a mustache. He has four slimy arms, two in front of his neck and two behind it. They are green and look like human arms. His hands are also like human hands except they have suction cups on the palm and fingers and squid like beaks in the middle of the palm. His body starts to turn a dark green blue. It is mad up of three fat bulges on each side. Each bulge has a pink nipple on it. In the middle there is a pink belly button. His waist is purple and fades into the same green as his arms. He has four squid like legs, with yellow suckers on the bottom. He has two fat toes at the end of each leg. He stands strait up like a human or meerkat would. George’s species name is M.S.H. because he looks like he is 1/3 Meerkat, 1/3 Squid, and 1/3 Human.

Microsoft Surface

Microsoft has created a new type of computer, and it has a touch screen. It is the shape of a coffee table. It is called the Microsoft Surface. The possibilities with Microsoft Surface are endless. You can share pictures just by placing your camera of the table and (if it is wireless) the pictures will display right on the table. You can modify the size just by stretching the pictures out. If you want to take the pictures with you just place your phone on the computer and drag the picture to you phone, it will automatically put the picture on your phone. It reacts to multiple touches, so you and your friends could use it at the same time. If went to a restaurant that had a Microsoft Surface for a table it would be easy to order all of your food. All you have to do is drag what you want to is select it on the virtual menu and drag it to the middle. You can even split the bill just by placing you credit cards on the table and dragging the items you want to pay fore to your credit card.


The computer should be available in the next 3 to 4 years for everyone. It will cost about $5,000 to $10,000. They have only one game that I know of so far, it's a firefly game. You try to collect fireflies and put the in your jar and get all of the colors. This game is four player, and if you get mad you can splatter the fireflies next to your opponents jar.
